Gospel

By Thulung | May 24, 2009

Gospel, simple means God speaks. If you remember when someone tries to say something but stops or keeps their hands on their mouth or is shy or hesitate to speak about what they were about to speak, you say spell it out. This is what Gospel is God+speaks good news in simple word. What did the God of heaven and earth speak? We have lot of references in the Holy Scriptures of God speaking.
"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14). Not just in the Old Testament, but to confirm His Word God spoke again in the New Testament, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." (Matthew 1:23). God spoke again to the whole world in love saying, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). And finally, God is not a man that He should lie, but God does what He says and also proves His Love and fulfills His Word, as we read in the First Epistle to the Corinthians: "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" (1-Corinthians 15:3-4). This is what the Gospel is, God speaking good news to the children of men: men and women who are born; living and dying in their sins do have hope , redemption, deliverance and future in the Lord Jesus Christ the saviour of the world.

The Church

By Thulung | April 29, 2009

Today, many people are just ok with churches that suit them. Many people go to the church of their liking or choice simply because of their nationality, family, friends, children etc. But, where does the Lord wants us to be and gather? The Word of God says very clearly about the church which God Himself is building from heaven by the power of Holy Ghost, whose plan and pattern He has given to us in His Holy Scriptures, the Holy Bible. Where we are to gather together and worship Him, our God, our Creator and our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ. “I will built My church and the gates of hell shalt not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18).

Old Testament

By Thulung | February 28, 2009

Old Testament, the old covenant is part of the Holy Bible from Genesis to Malachi, which gives us the record of God’s creation, purpose and many more things until the New covenant, the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ the saviour of the World.

Gospel Trip to Snowy Mountain Region

By Thulung | January 13, 2009

Now ‘Young peoples’ Meetings’ is over, but the young ones are still on holiday this week. So, they have come forth to go to preach and declare the gospel ‘good news from heaven - Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day for the forgiveness of all our sins.’
They will be witnessing to the souls about the True love of God, who wants us to know Him as our God and Saviour, who wants us to know His divine love and eternal purpose in dying on the cross. They will be walking and running up and down the land, round about the mountains a lot with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of Life, hope and joy.
Our prayers are constantly for them, that God will keep them, preserver them and use them mightily in preaching the Word of God for the increase of His eternal kingdom in the hearts and lives of people in the Snowy Mountain areas.

Holy Convocation - 2008

By Thulung | December 30, 2008

We had a blessed time in the Word of God during the time of Holy Convocation this year. The theme for this year’s Holy Convocation which was held from 24th of December to 28th of December 2008, was “The Comming of the Lord.” Yes, beloved the Lord is coming soon only those who believe and are ready for His second appearing will be the ones who will be caught up to meet him in the air, to be with Him our God, our Father, our Creator and the Saviour of the world the Lord Jesus Christ.
We, first of all as an individual are to prepare for His coming, then when we are ready and have that testimony then will we be able to prepare our household and then through our both personal and family life and testimony be able to encourage the Church of God which His is building from heaven by the power of His Holy Ghost, to prepare for His glorious appearing.
We did mediate concerning Israel, God’s chosen nation. Nation chosen by God to be a peculiar people, to show forth the glory of God. Instead they disobeyed God’s order and commandments. Not only did they disobey God’s Word, but as a nation, they did also reject the Lord’s Christ, The Messiah, The Christ, God’s Anointed King.  And as a result they scattered through out the world without its own nation/state, to which they could call home.
But, in the fullness of time God, who cannot lie and God who is a covenant keeping God, who made covenant with David, that his seed will sit on the throne of Israel, despite of Israel’s failure to obey God’s commandments, He brought the Jews back to Israel after many generations. In May 14th, 1948 God gave Israel their homeland in the midst of their enemies. Since, then Israel has gone through many wars and troubles, yet Israel has survived, not because of their backing from US or the Jews all over the world or guns or bombs. But, only because of God’s promise and covenant that He made with king David. So, whosoever toucheth Israel is touching God’s purpose. Whosever divides Israel is dividing God’s land.
Same applies to the Church of God, is the kingdom of God, which He is building from heaven, whosoever toucheth or divides God’s Church is touching God’s eternal purpose, for which He died of the cross, to deliver us from our sins and gives us His life to manifest His glory of His grace in and through our lives, all the days of our life. Today, the church of God is the Israel of God. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.” (Galatians 6:16).

Truth Behind Christmas/Christ’s mass

By Thulung | December 24, 2008

First of all I would like to begin with saying, Christ Mass or more commonly known to the world as Christmas, both to Christians and non Christians alike, is, has or will have nothing to do with the Lord Jesus Christ, Christians or The Holy Word of God, The Bible. The Holy Scriptures declares the birth of Christ but no mention, not even once does it mention about the date of His birth. 25th of December has nothing to do with the birth of Christ.
Matter of fact the Word of God, in the Gospel of Luke also confirms that the shepherds were outside in the field, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” (Luke 2:8). Now, December is cold winter month in Northern Hemisphere, sometimes it could even snow in Bethlehem, why would the shepherds stay out in the field during the cold freezing winter month of December? So, from the Word of God we can say and gives us the sure assurance that the Lord Jesus Christ was not born on 25th of December.
Christmas is nothing but the worshipping of pagan gods by the heathens, which was practiced even before the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ on this earth. In the Northern Hemisphere the shortest day and the longest night falls during this time of December and is called the winter solstice. Many people in those days, just like in many religions even today, believed sun was a god and was getting sick and weak. People thought slowly sun might die and eventually they will all freeze to death. So they prayed and worshiped for the sun to get well.
The Encylopedia Romana reveals that many Christmas or Christ Mass traditions were adapted from Roman celebration called the Saturnalia. It explains that at the time of the winter solastic, 25th of December in Julian calendar, Saturnus, the god of seed and sowing was honoured with a festival. It also says that this immersed in the celebartion of Christmas in during fourth century AD.
Pagans also believe that Yule is the time when their goddess gave birth to the sun god. Yule is also celebrated on the night of the winter solstice.
It is a very dreadful thing, not only people in this world with different belief, but also almost everyone who calls themselves Christian, who profess to confess or declare that Christ died for them to redeemed and deliver them from all their sins are celebrating and following this pagan customs and traditions of worshipping their heathen gods. But, the Lord commands us to “Flee from idolatry.” (1 Corinthians 10:14).
Dear beloved, Christmas has nothing to do with Christ and His Church. It is just the tool of the Devil to deceive us and the world, to keep all of us in bondage, traditions and customs and in greed and covetousness. To keep us from knowing the truth and the purpose of our creation for which we were created, to worship the True and the Living God in Spirit and in Truth. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24).
Not only in Spirit and in Truth, but also to worship Him and Him alone. “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God,and him only shalt thou serve .” (Luke 4:8). We only have one life to live and this life is short, so let us be wise, sober. Live and use it for the glory and honour of God of heaven and the earth, God who created you and me and the Lord God Almighty who died for you and me to give us life, hope, peace and joy. “Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12).

The House of God, the gate of heaven

By Thulung | December 22, 2008

We read in Genesis 28 verse 17, "How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven." Jacob, was running away from his older brother, after he tricked him in selling his birth right. So, to avoid the conflict between the two sons, Esau (older) and Jacob, Rebekah the mother of two tells Jacob to go away, to her brother Laban, the Syrian. And, to get a wife from there as well, so Jacob obeyed his father Issac and mother Rebekah and began his journey to Haran.
On his way to Haran, Jacob comes to a certain place and prepares himself for the night to sleep. He took a stone for his pillow and slept, he dreamed a dream in which he saw a great ladder set upon the earth and it’s top reaching up to heaven. Angels descending and ascending upon the ladder and at the top of the ladder he saw the LORD. Who said unto Jacob, " I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed." (Genesis 28:13).
Jacob, woke up from his dream, "And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven." (Genesis 28:17). Beloved, there was nothing there but a stone, which he had for his pillow. But, he called it the house of God, the gate of heaven. So he took the stone, which he had used as a pillow and setup it up as a pillar and poured the oil on it. He called it Bethel, meaning The House of God, before it was called Luz.
House of God is house/place where God dwells, House of God is the gate to heaven, access to heaven, entrance to heaven, glimpse of heaven. House of God is where we hear God’s word and receive God’s message, place where we can pray and worship, and place where our request and worship is taken up by those angels, who are descending and our answer being brought down by those angels descending upon that ladder.
That is what the House of God, place where heaven meets the earth,  the gate, an access to heaven and heavenly things. Just gathering of born again Christians, whose sins are forgiven and are reading, and preaching the word of God and praying unto Him as a congregation doesn’t make the house of God. House of God is a place where God finds rest, where God’s word if kept, honored and obeyed. Where there is divine order, a little glimpse of heaven, heaven like place on earth.

Australia and the vison of God’s True Church

By Thulung | December 3, 2008

Dear friends, we read in the Holy Scriptures, in the Word of God the Bible, in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 18 verse 16, “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18).  Here, the Lord Jesus Christ was declaring that He is building His church. He did not say he was building Church of England, Baptish church, Anglican church, Episcopal chruch, Lutheran church, independent christian groups, fellowship and gathernings. God is bulding His church, not any other church that are called by after the names of the people, country or a place, that suits to certain people, country or a nation.
God, who was manifested in the flesh in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, dwelt among us, lived pure and holy life among the people, life of love, joy, care, power and yet without sin. While He was on this earth for three and thirty years, out of love and compassion He healed the sick, gave eye sight to the blind, made the lame to walk, raised the dead, fed the multitude.
But, that was not the purpose He can into this world, He came to die, that we might live. He came to give His life that we might receive Life. He shed His blood to cleanse us and wash us from all our sins and give us the peace and joy of our sins forgiven. We, whose sins are forgiven, are to glorify God and Saviour Jesus Christ, to continue in the things concerning the kingdom of God, as the early christian did from the day of Penticost, the day The Holy Spirit was given to be them that believed and obyed to wait for His promise.
After receiving the Holy Ghost, power of God to live godly and holy life, which was promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to His disciplined ones, before His ascension to heaven, His command was to be witness unto all the earth of His eternal purpose in saving their souls.
Today, because of those early christians who were obedient to the commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ to be a witness of God’s eternal purpose His Church, which He is building from heaven by the power of Holy Ghost. Church of God, the people who are redeemed from their sins, cleanse and made clean, Holy and pure, Spirit of God dwelling in them. People who are gathering in one place, with one mind, one heart and one purpose to glorify God, under the headship, obedience and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ.
No, doubt there were lots of Gospel preaching and preachers, Bible teaching and studies. Christian denominations: Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Brethren and others, fellowship, groups and gatherings, christian conferences, christian meetings and more. But, still no Matthew chapter 16 verse 18.
But, thanks be unto God, this same teaching, purpose, revelation, vision and teaching which was in the early church as it’s decleard in the book of Acts and epistles also came to this land of Australia in the early 60s. It was not easy, many were not ready for the vision of the True Church of God as it has been decleared in the Word of God. Many couldn’t continue just like we read in the Gospel of John. “Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?” (John 6:60). But, there was one man ready to teach, share and impart the revelation, vision and understanding which he received from God through obedience to the word of God. And there was another one young man who was ready to receive, obey, run and abide in the vision and revelation of the True church of God given and shown in and from the word of God.
Today, we can truly say, the vision has been kept and preserved until this day. May the Lord keep and preserve His testimony of His True church, which He is building from heaven until His comming…
