Genesis
Genesis is the first book of the Old Testament which is part of the Holy Bible, the Holy Scriptures. The Word Genesis simply means “In the beginning” or “to begin with” to be more simple it means creation, the begining of all things by God. Genesis is the book for us to find the answers to our questions about Creator, creation, who we are, what we are and why we are here on this earth. It is the book that simplyfies the basics about life and death, sin and redemption, good and evil, present and future.
Genesis is basically divided into two (2) major parts: From chapter 1-11 it introduces us to our God and Creator and shows our relationship with Him. From chapter 12-50 it shows us God dealings with mankind through covenant or Holy promise to all mankind and even to some specific people like Abraham. In Genesis, God also reveals us His purpose in creation and our purpose of being on this earth and we being called into His eternal purpose in Christ Jesus.
In Genesis:
Origin of the physical universe: 1:1-2:3
Origin of humankind: 2:3-25
Origin of sin: 3:1-24
Origin of death: 4:1-26
Origin of judgement: 5:1-9:28
The Great Flood and Noah: 6:1-9:17
Origin of peoples and cultures: 10:1-11:32
Revelation of purpose through Abraham 12:1-25:8
Revelation of purpose through Isaac 21:3-28:6
Revelation of purpose through Jacob 25:26-37:1
Revelation of purpose through Joseph 39:1-50:26

Gospel
Gospel, simple means God speaks. If you remember when someone tries to say something but stops or keeps their hands on their mouth or is shy or hesitate to speak about what they were about to speak, you say spell it out. This is what Gospel is God+speaks good news in simple word. What did the God of heaven and earth speak? We have lot of references in the Holy Scriptures of God speaking.
"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14). Not just in the Old Testament, but to confirm His Word God spoke again in the New Testament, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." (Matthew 1:23). God spoke again to the whole world in love saying, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). And finally, God is not a man that He should lie, but God does what He says and also proves His Love and fulfills His Word, as we read in the First Epistle to the Corinthians: "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" (1-Corinthians 15:3-4). This is what the Gospel is, God speaking good news to the children of men: men and women who are born; living and dying in their sins do have hope , redemption, deliverance and future in the Lord Jesus Christ the saviour of the world.

The Church
Today, many people are just ok with churches that suit them. Many people go to the church of their liking or choice simply because of their nationality, family, friends, children etc. But, where does the Lord wants us to be and gather? The Word of God says very clearly about the church which God Himself is building from heaven by the power of Holy Ghost, whose plan and pattern He has given to us in His Holy Scriptures, the Holy Bible. Where we are to gather together and worship Him, our God, our Creator and our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ. “I will built My church and the gates of hell shalt not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18).

Gospel Trip to Snowy Mountain Region
Now ‘Young peoples’ Meetings’ is over, but the young ones are still on holiday this week. So, they have come forth to go to preach and declare the gospel ‘good news from heaven - Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day for the forgiveness of all our sins.’
They will be witnessing to the souls about the True love of God, who wants us to know Him as our God and Saviour, who wants us to know His divine love and eternal purpose in dying on the cross. They will be walking and running up and down the land, round about the mountains a lot with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of Life, hope and joy.
Our prayers are constantly for them, that God will keep them, preserver them and use them mightily in preaching the Word of God for the increase of His eternal kingdom in the hearts and lives of people in the Snowy Mountain areas.

Holy Convocation - 2008
We had a blessed time in the Word of God during the time of Holy Convocation this year. The theme for this year’s Holy Convocation which was held from 24th of December to 28th of December 2008, was “The Comming of the Lord.” Yes, beloved the Lord is coming soon only those who believe and are ready for His second appearing will be the ones who will be caught up to meet him in the air, to be with Him our God, our Father, our Creator and the Saviour of the world the Lord Jesus Christ.
We, first of all as an individual are to prepare for His coming, then when we are ready and have that testimony then will we be able to prepare our household and then through our both personal and family life and testimony be able to encourage the Church of God which His is building from heaven by the power of His Holy Ghost, to prepare for His glorious appearing.
We did mediate concerning Israel, God’s chosen nation. Nation chosen by God to be a peculiar people, to show forth the glory of God. Instead they disobeyed God’s order and commandments. Not only did they disobey God’s Word, but as a nation, they did also reject the Lord’s Christ, The Messiah, The Christ, God’s Anointed King. And as a result they scattered through out the world without its own nation/state, to which they could call home.
But, in the fullness of time God, who cannot lie and God who is a covenant keeping God, who made covenant with David, that his seed will sit on the throne of Israel, despite of Israel’s failure to obey God’s commandments, He brought the Jews back to Israel after many generations. In May 14th, 1948 God gave Israel their homeland in the midst of their enemies. Since, then Israel has gone through many wars and troubles, yet Israel has survived, not because of their backing from US or the Jews all over the world or guns or bombs. But, only because of God’s promise and covenant that He made with king David. So, whosoever toucheth Israel is touching God’s purpose. Whosever divides Israel is dividing God’s land.
Same applies to the Church of God, is the kingdom of God, which He is building from heaven, whosoever toucheth or divides God’s Church is touching God’s eternal purpose, for which He died of the cross, to deliver us from our sins and gives us His life to manifest His glory of His grace in and through our lives, all the days of our life. Today, the church of God is the Israel of God. “And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.” (Galatians 6:16).

Truth Behind Christmas/Christ’s mass
First of all I would like to begin with saying, Christ Mass or more commonly known to the world as Christmas, both to Christians and non Christians alike, is, has or will have nothing to do with the Lord Jesus Christ, Christians or The Holy Word of God, The Bible. The Holy Scriptures declares the birth of Christ but no mention, not even once does it mention about the date of His birth. 25th of December has nothing to do with the birth of Christ.
Matter of fact the Word of God, in the Gospel of Luke also confirms that the shepherds were outside in the field, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” (Luke 2:8). Now, December is cold winter month in Northern Hemisphere, sometimes it could even snow in Bethlehem, why would the shepherds stay out in the field during the cold freezing winter month of December? So, from the Word of God we can say and gives us the sure assurance that the Lord Jesus Christ was not born on 25th of December.
Christmas is nothing but the worshipping of pagan gods by the heathens, which was practiced even before the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ on this earth. In the Northern Hemisphere the shortest day and the longest night falls during this time of December and is called the winter solstice. Many people in those days, just like in many religions even today, believed sun was a god and was getting sick and weak. People thought slowly sun might die and eventually they will all freeze to death. So they prayed and worshiped for the sun to get well.
The Encylopedia Romana reveals that many Christmas or Christ Mass traditions were adapted from Roman celebration called the Saturnalia. It explains that at the time of the winter solastic, 25th of December in Julian calendar, Saturnus, the god of seed and sowing was honoured with a festival. It also says that this immersed in the celebartion of Christmas in during fourth century AD.
Pagans also believe that Yule is the time when their goddess gave birth to the sun god. Yule is also celebrated on the night of the winter solstice.
It is a very dreadful thing, not only people in this world with different belief, but also almost everyone who calls themselves Christian, who profess to confess or declare that Christ died for them to redeemed and deliver them from all their sins are celebrating and following this pagan customs and traditions of worshipping their heathen gods. But, the Lord commands us to “Flee from idolatry.” (1 Corinthians 10:14).
Dear beloved, Christmas has nothing to do with Christ and His Church. It is just the tool of the Devil to deceive us and the world, to keep all of us in bondage, traditions and customs and in greed and covetousness. To keep us from knowing the truth and the purpose of our creation for which we were created, to worship the True and the Living God in Spirit and in Truth. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24).
Not only in Spirit and in Truth, but also to worship Him and Him alone. “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God,and him only shalt thou serve .” (Luke 4:8). We only have one life to live and this life is short, so let us be wise, sober. Live and use it for the glory and honour of God of heaven and the earth, God who created you and me and the Lord God Almighty who died for you and me to give us life, hope, peace and joy. “Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12).
